About Works by Wren!
and me, the owner, Wren Wilder
Hi! My name is Wren, and I am the creator of Works by Wren. First off, thank you for making it to this page! It shows that you care and are interested in what I am doing with my life through art! I appreciate you.
Here are some things about me! I am local to Leavenworth WA, and have lived here most of my life, constantly exploring and pursuing my many passions. I have to highlight skiing, as it is a huge part of my life through both competing and just shredding in general. However, basically everything outdoors gets me hyped, and I am constantly inspired to try new things and push my limits. I also love to mountain bike, work on my truck, and of course, art! Every aspect of my life, through friends, family, professional athletes, other inspiring artists, and more, impacts my art and how I choose to be creative!
I started my little art business when I was 15, after designing a few stickers for my school art fair. They sold out. That experience sparked something in me; I realized that I could create a genuine, meaningful impact through my art. Since then, I have poured my heart and soul into this business: from running my own website and social media, to making and selling prints, stickers ,paintings, brand merch, jewelry, Kinco glove art, and my current biggest passion – handmade spoon rings. (I salvage, cut, grind, bend, and polish every single one by hand – learn more on my spoon ring page!) I absolutely love being able to create, explore and connect with people.
My art is for more than just aesthetics or profit; it’s about my own personal growth, the connection it creates with people, and building a balanced lifestyle. Everything that I make is a reflection of who I am and where I’ve been. Handmade and carefully created, I put all my effort into making art that I am very proud of. I am constantly inspired by my friends, the community, athletes I look up to, and other artists pushing boundaries. I think it’s so cool that I am able to combine my love for the outdoors, and my own creative expression, into something I can share with you all.
My Goals
Right now, I am completing my senior year at Cascade High School and wrapping up my AA at Wenatchee Valley College through the Running Start program. This fall, I’ll be heading to Montana State University to pursue a major in art and psychology and a minor in marketing – with hopes to dive deeper into my goals from graphic design and fine arts, to sports nutrition and psychology.
I want to continue to grow this business to help support me in pursuing my passions through college, competing in Freeride skiing, and overall, creating an impact and inspiring others. You really are capable of anything you put your mind to.
Your support of my art, lifestyle, and goals, mean so much to me as I aspire to get out of my comfort zone, chase the next adventures in life, and stay stoked about all the little moments it has to offer.
Whether you are buying something, sharing my work, or simply showing your support, you are helping me do something real.
